Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze inpatient, outpatient, and provider billing for medical appropriateness
• Apply national and international coding standards to claims billed
• Monitor and summarize trends in coding practices and regulatory changes across multiple countries

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field or completion of medical license/coding certification
• Current nursing certification or certified coder (CCS, CCS-P, CPC) required
• At least 2 years of experience in medical procedure billing, coding, or reimbursement
• Knowledge of inpatient/outpatient hospital billing requirements and international equivalents
• Familiarity with international medical data resources and coding tools preferred
