A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze inpatient, outpatient, and provider billing for medical appropriateness and compliance
• Apply national and international coding standards to claims and prepare documentation for audits
• Monitor and research coding practices and regulatory changes across multiple countries or regions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field or completion of medical license/coding certification
• Current nursing certification or certified coder (CCS, CCS-P, CPC) preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or auditing
• Knowledge of inpatient/outpatient billing requirements and international equivalents
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
