Certified Medical Dosimetrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Dosimetrist I - NE PRN Only.

Key Responsibilities

• Design radiation therapy courses in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation oncology techniques to create treatment plans
• Utilize ARIA/Eclipse software for treatment planning and documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Graduate of a medical dosimetry program or equivalent training and experience totaling at least 18 months
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist or board eligible required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical dosimetry preferred
• On-the-job training under supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist is necessary
