Certified Medical Dosimetrist

Job Summary

To support the Radiation Oncology team, the full-time Certified Medical Dosimetrist will design and generate radiation dose distributions, perform dose calculations, and ensure adherence to treatment plans while working remotely from eligible states.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and measures radiation dose distributions and performs dose calculations
• Provides oversight for high-level treatment procedures in external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy
• Prepares treatment plans and documents pertinent data accurately according to department policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Required)
• Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy performing Dosimetry (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) (Required)
• Radiologic Technologists certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Preferred)
