Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Writer - Requirements team member.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, gather, and document clinical requirements for policy and rule specification creation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate clinical requirements and ensure correct coding guideline interpretations
• Support Quality Assurance and perform user acceptance testing of policies and/or rules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health information management, Nursing, or other Healthcare-related degree, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is required
• 5+ years of healthcare experience, including 2 years as a medical policy analyst or similar role
• 2+ years of experience with ClaimsXten solution
