Certified Neurology Coder

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Certified Neurology Coder will review medical record documentation, assign appropriate billing codes, and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate coding in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation to identify facts necessary for selecting comprehensive diagnoses and procedures
• Code evaluations and management to appropriate CPT codes and diagnoses to ICD-9 codes
• Assist coders and increase physician awareness of documentation requirements

Required qualifications

• Must possess one of the following coding credentials: CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A, or a specialty-specific coding credential from AAPC
• No specific work experience is required for this position
• A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
