Certified Oncology Data Specialist II

Job Summary

To support cancer registry operations, the part-time Certified Oncology Data Specialist II will perform case findings, manage and analyze cancer data, and ensure the accuracy and quality of the cancer database in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and analyze data on patients diagnosed with cancer
• Abstract, code, and report cancer statistics while maintaining compliance with American College of Surgeons requirements
• Assist with annual follow-up of patients and consistently meet productivity goals for data abstracting

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree (required)
• Oncology Data Specialist Certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) (required)
• 2 years of experience in database management (preferred)
• 2 years of experience in tumor registry (preferred)
