Certified OP Surgery Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OP Surgery (Facility) Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT and Diagnosis codes for Outpatient SDS charts
• Accurately apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Must have reliable internet and current coding materials
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
