Certified Outpatient Auditor

Job Summary

To support quality assurance efforts, the full-time Certified Outpatient Auditor will conduct reviews of outpatient coding specialists, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining accuracy rates of 95% or better, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete quality assurance reviews for internal and external outpatient coding specialists
• Provide onboarding audits and training for newly hired coding consultants
• Report quality results and track educational opportunities for coding specialists

Required qualifications:

• Possession of an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential; CIRCC/RCCIR preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of coding experience required; specialty experience may be preferred
• At least 2 years of auditing experience preferred
• Recommended 2 years of remote work experience
