Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and track productivity in specified systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of pro fee pain management coding experience
• Experience with Epic and either Optum or 3M encoder
• Experience working with edits and denials
• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• Must possess relevant coding certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P
