Job Summary

Managing complex front-end insurance processes, the full-time Certified Patient Access Specialist will verify patient insurance details, prepare revenue cycle reports, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance accuracy and reduce denials, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient insurance details and eligibility using various resources and input information into the EMR
  • Prepare and analyze revenue cycle reports to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Explain insurance benefits, co-pays, and deductibles to patients and family members in a high call volume environment
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years of experience in patient registration
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to handle multiple calls daily
