Job Summary
Coordinating and monitoring the provider/facility payer credentialing process, the full-time Certified Payer Enrollment Specialist will manage credentialing applications, track license expirations, and resolve inquiries, while working remotely from approved states.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, review, and prepare data for medical staff and allied health professionals' credentialing
- Ensure current licenses, malpractice coverage, and certifications for all Providers and Facilities
- Maintain provider and facility files, including licensure and clinical practice disciplinary actions
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) certification, or to be obtained within two years of hire
- Two years of healthcare experience
- Preferred: One year of payer credentialing experience
