Job Summary

To support the processing of Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll data, the remote, contract Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely compensation for technicians while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and customer-specific requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily processing of internal Excel reports and handle sensitive payroll data
• Submit required documentation through state and customer portals
• Support strategic process enhancements and system improvements within the team

Required qualifications

• Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage expertise
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis
• Strong mathematical aptitude for interpreting numerical data
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information
• Ability to recognize discrepancies and investigate root causes effectively
