Job Summary
Leading complex payroll operations, the full-time Lead Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for multi-state and international operations while providing subject matter expertise and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll processes and tax regulations, guiding complex issue resolution and influencing strategies
- Lead payroll reconciliations and audits, implementing sustainable controls in partnership with Accounting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including complex payroll operations in multi-state and/or international environments
- Advanced expertise in payroll processing and applicable federal, state, and international regulations
- Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional payroll practices and advanced proficiency in payroll and business systems
