Job Summary

Leading complex payroll operations, the full-time Lead Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for multi-state and international payroll, while providing subject matter expertise and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll processes and tax regulations, guiding resolution strategies for complex issues
• Lead payroll reconciliations and audits, implementing sustainable controls in collaboration with Accounting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, particularly in multi-state and/or international environments
• Advanced expertise in payroll processing and applicable federal, state, and international regulations
• Strong proficiency in payroll systems, including UKG (UltiPro) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
