Job Summary
Leading complex payroll operations, the full-time Lead Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for multi-state and international payroll, while providing subject matter expertise and mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll processes and tax regulations, guiding resolution strategies for complex issues
- Lead payroll reconciliations and audits, implementing sustainable controls in collaboration with Accounting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, particularly in multi-state and/or international environments
- Advanced expertise in payroll processing and applicable federal, state, and international regulations
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems, including UKG (UltiPro) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
