Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
Job Summary
Providing one-on-one peer support to individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), the fully remote Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will utilize personal lived experience to motivate members, develop individualized recovery plans, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure comprehensive care from Monday through Friday, 12pm - 8pm EST.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personalized peer support and motivation to individuals with SUD
- Develop and implement individualized recovery plans in collaboration with members
- Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions and advocate for access to resources
Required qualifications:
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing peer support to individuals with SUD
- Lived experience with substance use recovery and mental health treatment
- Strong understanding of recovery principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
