Certified Peer Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support an AI-led therapy program, an experienced Certified Peer Support Specialist will provide individual and group sessions remotely, using their lived experience to motivate patients and navigate technological challenges in a flexible contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver peer sessions that normalize challenges and reinforce therapeutic progress
• Lead virtual groups focused on wellbeing tools and psycho-education
• Follow crisis protocols and initiate clinical handoffs when necessary

Required qualifications

• Current and unrestricted peer support certification (e.g., CPS-MH or state equivalent)
• Personal history of anxiety and/or depression to instill hope in others
• Commitment to inclusivity and respect for patients from marginalized backgrounds
• Interest in supporting older adults (65+) with awareness of their unique needs
• Experience leading peer or educational groups is a plus
