Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Prior Authorization Technician (Temp to Hire).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex prior authorization requests and ensure substantial clinical information for pharmacist review
• Obtain clinical information from relevant parties to address clinical guidelines for review
• Triage phone calls and resolve concerns from clients, members, pharmacy personnel, and providers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a UM Technician I
• State or National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
