Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pediatric practice, the remote Certified Pharmacy Technician will manage clinical pharmacy referrals, assist in medication access for pediatric patients, and collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team to enhance medication-related outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, triage, and assign clinical pharmacy referrals to appropriate team members
• Communicate with pharmacies and insurance companies to resolve medication access barriers
• Schedule patient/caregiver appointments and prepare charts for Clinical Pharmacist appointments

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Current accredited pharmacy technician certification (such as PTCB)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Registration with applicable state board(s) of pharmacy as required by law
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
