Job Summary

To assist patients in managing out-of-pocket costs, the remote Patient Benefit Navigator will negotiate copayment arrangements, navigate assistance programs, and provide timely financial analyses for specialty therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and navigate patient assistance programs and confirm proper enrollment for patients with limited insurance coverage
• Work directly with patients to negotiate copayment arrangements and retrieve payment methods
• Submit accurate financial analyses and assist in resolving financial assistance issues related to prescription refills

Required qualifications

• High school diploma with 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare (admissions, verification, billing/collections, or pharmacy)
• State certification registration or licensure as a Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Proficient in personal computer use, including word processing and electronic spreadsheets
• Working knowledge of medical and prescription insurance coverage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a compassionate attitude
