Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Certified Pharmacy Technician will serve as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies, delivering timely support across phone, chat, and email while managing inquiries related to benefits, prior authorizations, and claims.

Key responsibilities

• Field and resolve inquiries related to mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, and claims adjudication
• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims and ensure accuracy against benefit guidelines
• Document interactions and resolutions within internal systems to support continuity of care and operational reporting

Required qualifications

• Active/Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA)
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, or PBM contact center role
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and PBM terminology
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks across various communication channels
