Certified Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support the Senior Care Outreach and Retention team, the full-time remote Certified Pharmacy Technician will engage with members through inbound and outbound phone support, focusing on medication adherence and member education to enhance their understanding of prescriptions and healthcare benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing and maintaining pharmacy information for internal and external customers
- Conducting outbound educational calls regarding medication adherence to members, prescribers, and pharmacists
- Motivating members to refill prescriptions and coordinating communication with providers and pharmacies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or comparable customer service environment
- 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting with knowledge of medical terminology
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) certification required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
