Job Summary
Providing front-line customer support, the full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) will handle inbound inquiries from members, pharmacies, and prescribers while working remotely for a temporary duration of three months.
Key responsibilities
- Provide real-time support to pharmacies with point of service inquiries
- Educate prescribers on formulary and prior authorization processes
- Enter customer data and other relevant information into documentation tools
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- 3 to 5 years of recent PBM and/or pharmacy experience
- Experience handling pharmacy benefit inquiries and formulary questions
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures for contact handling
