Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for dermatology visits/procedures and diagnoses
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, payer guidelines, and company policies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate coding and billing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding for dermatology procedures
• Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS-P) required
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate; associate degree highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding systems, and medical terminology
• 2+ years of experience in a remote working environment
