Certified Privacy Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Director who will oversee the privacy of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive privacy policies and procedures
• Collaborate with IT and legal teams on privacy assessments and incident responses
• Conduct compliance monitoring and risk assessments related to PHI

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, regulatory, business administration, or business ethics (required)
• Master's degree (preferred)
• 6 to 10 years of healthcare regulatory experience, including HIPAA (required)
• Certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance or related fields (required)
• Deep knowledge of privacy, security, and breach notification laws
