Job Summary

A company is looking for a Procedural-Surgical Coder I-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and code medical record documentation for diagnostic and procedural information
• Ensure compliance with coding rules and guidelines for specialized medical and surgical professionals
• Maintain accurate coding and billing practices in a teleworking environment

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma with 4 years of procedural/surgical coding experience or Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Coding credential such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS-P, or CPC required
• Experience with orthopedic outpatient and clinic procedures preferred
• Knowledge of coding and billing requirements in various healthcare settings
