Certified Profee Auditor

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the part-time Certified Profee Auditor will perform quality assurance reviews, promote coding accuracy, and provide educational feedback to enhance client services in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of client accounts with appropriate feedback
• Promote consistency and accuracy in coding and documentation practices through chart reviews
• Provide quality review-related education and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines

Required qualifications

• Current AHIMA or AAPC coding certification(s)
• 3-4 years of experience in coding/auditing CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS per CMS guidelines
• At least 3 years of multispecialty coding experience
• Understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and disease processes
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-department collaboration
