Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Specialized Coder - HIM.

Key Responsibilities

• Code medical records for physician and mid-level providers, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS
• Maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater by adhering to ethical coding standards and guidelines
• Utilize advanced coding knowledge to support specialty coding and related edits

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of a Coding Course
• Minimum of 1 year of coding experience; 3 years preferred
• Required core credential such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CRC
• Specialty credential in areas like Anesthesia, Cardiology, or Gastroenterology is required
