Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Specialized Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Code medical records accurately and timely for physician and mid-level provider services
• Assign appropriate ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes while adhering to coding guidelines
• Maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater in coding accuracy

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of a Coding Course
• 1 year of coder experience required; 3 years preferred
• Core credential such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CRC is required
• Specialty credential in areas like Anesthesia, Cardiology, or Emergency Department coding is required
