Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Specialist who will provide coding services for professional fee charts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-2 specialties
• Calculate ProFee and E/M levels and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain productivity and quality scores

Required Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• At least 2 years of paid work experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must maintain an ongoing productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
