Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinic Profee Coding Specialist to provide coding services for various medical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4 specialties
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes and interpret coding guidelines
• Maintain compliance with coding standards and participate in ongoing training and education

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is required
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
