Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy rates.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coding services for Professional Fee specialties, including Family Medicine and OBGYN
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes while recognizing critical care cases
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with ethical coding standards

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of experience coding Professional Fee clinics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
