Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing coding team, the full-time Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will work remotely, providing accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across various specialties while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS
• Calculate ProFee E/M levels and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential
• Must have reliable internet access and current coding materials
