Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties, ensuring accurate code assignment and compliance with coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coding services for Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC across multiple specialties
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
• Maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and participate in ongoing training and education

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
