Certified ProFee Inpatient Coder

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified ProFee Inpatient Coder will provide coding services for various specialties, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM, while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide accurate coding for Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC services across multiple specialties
• Calculate E/M levels and apply diagnosis and procedure codes with a focus on specificity and revenue capture
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to ethical coding standards and company policies

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• A minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Experience with EMR and billing systems is essential
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
