Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pro-Fee Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code and edit provider charges across multiple specialties
• Maintain high productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment
• Meet productivity targets of 12 charts per hour for coding and 15 charts per hour for editing

Required Qualifications

• Active certification: AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
• Minimum 3 years of pro-fee hospital coding experience, including editing
• Specialty experience in OB-GYN, Gastroenterology, Urology, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine
• Proven ability to maintain a quality score of 98% or higher
• Hands-on experience with EPIC and comfort with technology, including MS Office and Microsoft Teams
