Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and ensure accurate coding for billing purposes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• A minimum of five years of current production coding experience in relevant pro fee
• Strong EM level of service experience
• Experience with Epic software
• Certification such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P is required
