Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional Coder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Epic work queues, ensuring timely review and resolution
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate code assignment
• Review and interpret medical records to accurately assign codes for diagnoses and services

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• One or more years of professional coding experience in a physician billing environment preferred
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding
• Familiarity with reimbursement and billing practices for Medical Part B, Medicaid, and other third-party payers
• High school diploma required
• Professional medical coding certification with AAPC or AHIMA required
