Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries for clarification
• Assign PQRS codes and assist in developing templates and processes for documentation
• Provide training on code selection and investigate reimbursement issues, including denials

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an approved certified coding program preferred
• Three years of physician coding experience in the applicable specialty
• Licensure as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• Proficient computer skills, with MS Excel knowledge preferred
