Job Summary

A company is looking for a Multi-Specialty Professional Coder - Hospitalist Primary.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical records for evaluation and management services, ancillary services, surgical procedures, and diagnoses
• Work independently and meet project deadlines while staying updated with new coding rules
• Prepare coding reports for customers and maintain confidentiality of protected health information

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in multiple specialties
• CPC or CCS-P certification required; CPMA or CEMC preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Ability to multitask and maintain a sense of urgency
