Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Insurance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage invoices and manage claims submissions and appeals for reimbursement
• Research and resolve inquiries from various departments and follow up on issues
• Review and correct insurance denials, charge posting, and payment posting errors

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5 years of healthcare experience in medical billing or related fields required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's in Healthcare, Finance, IT, or Education preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required; certification must be completed within 18 months of employment
• Proven ability to develop coursework presentations required
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology required
