Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Coding Supervisor (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations for Physician Coding Clients
• Perform coding tasks 20% of the time, with oversight and training for coders 80% of the time
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and communicate effectively with providers

Required Qualifications

• University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for education)
• Current certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) through AAPC
• Experience supervising coders
• Experience in identifying documentation improvement opportunities
• Proficiency in Physician Communication
