Certified Professional Coding Manager

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic Coding team, the full-time Certified Professional Coding Manager will manage client SLAs, oversee departmental KPIs, and drive process improvements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client service level agreements (SLAs) and departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are achieved
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage employee performance management within the coding department
• Collaborate with other revenue cycle management functional areas to address coding needs and drive quality assurance initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in professional coding
• Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Subject matter expertise in surgical coding
• Certifications from AAPC and/or AHIMA
