Certified Professional Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Certified Professional Coding Supervisor, a full-time remote position, oversees professional coding staff, ensures compliance with coding regulations, and facilitates education and communication regarding procedural coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support physician fee coding staff in workflow management and compliance with coding guidelines
• Conduct internal quality assessments and provide feedback to ensure accurate and consistent coding
• Monitor documentation issues and coordinate education for staff to support revenue integrity

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) certification required
• Three years of professional procedure coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, or Pathophysiology
