Job Summary
To support the U.S. Department of Justice's complex litigation mission, the full-time Senior Auditor will plan, implement, and oversee large auditing investigations while working remotely and ensuring compliance with audit objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct and review the work of junior Auditors and Financial Analysts to meet audit investigation objectives
- Prepare interim and final reports for the Trial Staff and COR based on audit investigation results
- Analyze financial statements and records to draw conclusions in line with audit objectives
Required qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- MBA or equivalent in accounting or a directly related field
- Minimum of five years' experience as an auditor, with three years in specialized areas such as Medicare billing or DoD inventory systems
