Job Summary
To support the U.S. Department of Justice's complex litigation mission, the full-time Certified Public Accountant Auditor will manage and conduct small to moderately sized audit investigations remotely, providing analysis and recommendations based on audit results.
Key responsibilities:
- Plans, implements, and manages audit investigations with minimal supervision
- Conducts analysis of financial statements and prepares reports on audit progress and results
- Provides direction and guidance to junior Financial Analysts involved in audit investigations
Required qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- MBA or equivalent in accounting or a related field
- Minimum of three years' experience as an auditor
- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
