Certified Public Accountant Auditor

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Department of Justice's complex litigation mission, the full-time Certified Public Accountant Auditor will manage and conduct small to moderately sized audit investigations remotely, providing analysis and recommendations based on audit results.

Key responsibilities:

• Plans, implements, and manages audit investigations with minimal supervision
• Conducts analysis of financial statements and prepares reports on audit progress and results
• Provides direction and guidance to junior Financial Analysts involved in audit investigations

Required qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• MBA or equivalent in accounting or a related field
• Minimum of three years' experience as an auditor
• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
