Job Summary
To support procurement operations, the full-time remote Certified Purchasing Agent will review and process purchase orders, evaluate vendors, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate potential vendors and agreements
- Audit invoices for accuracy and compliance with purchase orders
- Maintain working relationships with vendors and address invoicing terms as needed
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related discipline
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Two years of experience in procurement of goods and services
- Experience in procurement within a government contracting environment is preferred
- Familiarity with DelTek Costpoint is preferred
