Certified Radiology Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional Radiology & Diagnostic Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding services by applying ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT codes accurately
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure compliance with ethical standards and company policies
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain coding credentials while ensuring confidentiality and security of information

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in EMR and billing systems, along with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and quality score of 95% or higher
• Must have reliable internet and current coding materials
