Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary

To support a short-term project aimed at improving clinical AI tools, the part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will annotate ultrasound images of nerve landmarks and apply clinical knowledge of relevant anatomy.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate ultrasound images focusing on nerve landmarks and surrounding anatomy
• Identify and label nerves relevant to regional anesthesia procedures
• Apply clinical knowledge of nerve-adjacent vascular and soft tissue structures in the groin and lower extremity

Required qualifications

• Active CRNA certification
• Regular use of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks in clinical practice (preferably 15+ blocks per month)
• Experience with lower extremity blocks including femoral, adductor canal, sciatic, popliteal, or fascia iliaca
• Comfort identifying the femoral nerve and surrounding neurovascular bundle on ultrasound
• Additional exposure to upper extremity or truncal blocks is a plus
