Certified Rehabilitation Counselor

Job Summary

To support individuals with occupational and non-occupational injuries and disabilities, the full-time remote Vocational Specialist will develop and provide vocational services, utilizing medical knowledge to assist in managing accommodations and rehabilitation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and analyze medical and return-to-work information to facilitate the return-to-work process for employers and employees
• Comply with federal, state, and accreditation standards relevant to vocational rehabilitation and workers' compensation
• Conduct job analyses and create job offer letters and program agreements for placements with non-profit organizations

Required qualifications

• Active Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) license required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) or Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification required
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation or related fields
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
